Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her role as the main character in TV programs like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. She is also popular for her film roles in Private Parts', 'Deep Impact', "True Criminal as well as '1408'. McCormack was born to the owner of an ice cream shop and a clinical psychologist. Her family has no connections to the entertainment industry. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the separation of her parents in 1990, she went to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She completed the BA program in comparative arts. At the age of 12 the stage journey began when she performed in "Amahl, and the Night Visitor", a holiday opera. The actress played for many years before her roles eventually made it to the screen. McCormack is now one of Hollywood's best actors. Michael Morris (producer/director) is the husband of McCormack. The couple has three daughters.
