
Leona Louise Lewis (born on April 3, 1985) is a British performer, songwriter as well as an actress and activist. Born and raised within the London Borough Of Islington she attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, Croydon. It was 10x platinum accredited in the UK. Spirit became the fourth album to be sold in the 2000, as well as among the most-sold UK albums. Spirit is, as per Official Charts Company is the greatest-selling debut album by a female artist. "Bleeding Love" The lead single from Spirit, remained at #1 in the UK for seven weeks. It was also the top-selling UK single. The song was among the best-selling of 2008, and Lewis received an award for her work, the Billboard Award for Best New Artist. Echo was her second studio album. She also wrote the hit song "I See You" to accompany Avatar. In the year 2011, Lewis released the single "Collide" as a collaborative effort together with Swedish DJ Avicii, and her first extended performance, Hurt: The EP. Glassheart (2012) is Lewis the release of her third studio album. It marked Lewis her first foray into electronic dubstep and music. The Glassheart Tour was in the beginning of 2013, as she began to record material to make her first Christmas album. The following year, her Christmas with Love with Love, featuring the title track "One more sleep", reached number three within the UK. In the wake of this chart, Lewis was the very first British female artist to reach the top 5 with eight singles. She beat Olivia Newton John's record of seven.
