
Amanda Louise Holden, born 16 February 1971, is an English media personality and actress. She has been the judge for Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent competition since 2007. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on every weekday morning. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her youth in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she joined Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden is also a part of TV credits, including three series featuring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham on the comedy Kiss Me Kate, three episodes of ITV's The Grimleys and Celeb With Harry Enfield on BBC, and an Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple Episode "4.50 from Paddington" with Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. Co-starring with Bill Nighy (and Tom Courtenay) in Ready When You Are Mr. McGill, Jack Rosenthal's comedy drama. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. She was a judge on Britain's Got Talent between 2006 until the year 2006.
